A commercial fountain basin, step by step.

Aging blue tile and a cracked basin. The tile came off, the basin was patched and resurfaced, recoated white, then a terracotta stain was built up in coats and finished by hand.

How a fountain repair works.

  1. 01

    Send photos

    Send a few pictures of your fountain by text and describe what it is doing. There is no charge to look at photos and tell you whether a repair is worth doing. Fountains bought elsewhere, including big box store and antique pieces, are welcome.

  2. 02

    Discuss the work

    Chris will usually give you a rough quote the same day. Common jobs include pumps that stopped running, cracked or leaking basins, tiers that shifted out of level, chipped edges, and old concrete that needs cleaning, resurfacing, or a fresh coat of paint and sealer. If a piece is beyond saving, he will say so and can quote a handcrafted replacement instead.

  3. 03

    Schedule service

    Timing depends on the fountain’s condition and the work required, and Chris will go over the expected schedule after reviewing your fountain. Full pond and water feature restorations, like the pond story above, are handled as small projects.
