Petal Bird Bath

Cast concrete, made by hand in Villa Rica.

Petal Bird Bath is one of the bird baths Chris casts and finishes himself in Villa Rica. Custom colors and finishes are available on request, and repairs, cleanings, and deliveries are available within the United States for a small fee.

How it is made

Bird baths are cast as a bowl and a pedestal, so you can choose the pedestal style and finish separately. The bowl is shallow enough for songbirds and heavy enough to stay put in wind.

Where it fits

Set a bird bath where you can see it from a window or porch, in partial shade so the water stays cooler. Bird baths are the most popular entry piece and pair well with a matching planter or statue.

Care and winter

Rinse and refill every few days in summer to keep the water clean. In winter, empty the bowl or turn it over so ice cannot crack it. Concrete lasts for decades with that simple habit.
