About this piece
Cast concrete, made by hand in Villa Rica.
Foo Dog Guardians (Pair) is one of the statues Chris casts and finishes himself in Villa Rica. Custom colors and finishes are available on request, and repairs, cleanings, and deliveries are available within the United States for a small fee.
- How it is made
- Statues are cast solid in concrete from Chris's mold collection, then hand-finished. Most can be left natural gray, stained, painted, or antiqued in a whitewash finish to suit your garden.
- Where it fits
- Statues anchor a flower bed, mark a path, or sit on a porch step. Smaller pieces make easy gifts; larger ones stand alongside a fountain or planter set.
- Care and winter
- Concrete statues live outdoors year round. Hose them off when they collect leaves or pollen, and let moss and patina develop if you like the aged look. Finishes can be refreshed later.
